Megan Bolch PhD, LP

Dr. Bolch is a child psychologist licensed in Kansas and Missouri.  She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  Dr. Bolch completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship training in Clinical Child Psychology at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Section of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences from 2003-2005.  Her training and practice includes diverse experiences with children of all ages and their families in both inpatient and outpatient clinical child and pediatric psychology. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bolch has taught college-level child development courses and has spoken to various organizations on topics involving parenting and educating children. 
 
Dr. Bolch’s areas of interest and specialty include psychological evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents for a variety of concerns, including academic/learning problems, ADHD, adjustment issues (e.g., grief/loss and divorce, anxiety and other mood concerns, and general behavioral problems (e.g., temper tantrums, sleep difficulties, and noncompliance).  She also has a personal interest in the management of Type 1 Diabetes as she has a child who lives with this condition.  Dr. Bolch enjoys working with children and families in a pediatric setting and consulting with medical professionals regarding their care. On a personal level, Dr. Bolch and her husband have two daughters, Ellie and Maddie, and a son, Luke.  When she has free time, she enjoys watching and coaching her kids in sports, and spending time with family and friends.
