Megan Bolch

Megan Bolch, Ph.D. is a child psychologist licensed in Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Bolch received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri- Kansas City and has training and experience in clinical intervention with both children and adults. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship training in Clinical Child Psychology at Children's Mercy Hospital, Section of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences from 2003-2005. Her training while at Children's Mercy Hospital included diverse experiences with children of all ages and their families in both inpatient and outpatient clinical child and pediatric psychology. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bolch currently teaches an undergraduate child psychology course at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Bolch's areas of interest and specialty include psychological evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents for a variety of concerns, including academic/learning problems, ADHD, anxiety and other mood concerns, and general behavioral problems (e.g., temper tantrums, sleep difficulties, and noncompliance). She enjoys working with children and families in a pediatric setting and consulting with medical professionals regarding their care. On a personal level, Dr. Bolch and her husband have two daughters, Ellie, age 4 and Maddie, age 2 and are expecting a baby boy in February 2009. When she has any "free time", she enjoys reading, going to movies, and spending time with family and friends.
