Helpful Guidelines for Calling Pediatric Care Specialists

If your child is ill and you would like to arrange a same day appointment call as early as possible. Describe the child's problem to our staff so they can schedule the proper amount of time. If you are especially concerned about a problem, please say so, do not assume that we can sense your concern over the phone.

For well child exams, please call in advance as we book well child exams three months in advance and they tend to fill up quickly. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call as soon as possible so that the appointment time can be given to another child. Any appointments not canceled 24 hours in advance may be subject to a $50 missed appointment fee.

When you call the office, we do everything we can to answer all calls in a timely fashion. Call volumes tend to be highest in the mornings, so for non-urgent or well child exam appointments, please call after 10 AM.

During the winter months hold times may be longer, however know that your call is very important to us and our nurses will be with you as quickly as possible. All nurse calls are answered in the order they are recieved, so please continue to hold. If you hang up and call back, or transfer to the front desk then you will loose your place in line.
