Ashley Ahring, PA-C, brings over 20 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a diverse background in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Rheumatology. She worked several years in Emergency Medicine where she developed strong clinical skills in a fast paced environment. She then followed her passion for kids and transitioned to Pediatric Primary Care for almost 8yrs, caring for newborns, infants, young and older kids, teenagers, as well as early college age years. She briefly embraced a new challenge in Rheumatology, treating both children and adults with autoimmune conditions, but greatly missed her role in Primary Pediatrics. She is excited to return to a Pediatric office setting and be a part of Pediatric Care Specialists. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Truman State University and her Master’s in Medical Science Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Louis University.
Ashley is known for her calm, compassionate approach, and strives to create a comfortable and reassuring environment where children feel at ease and parents feel heard. She takes pride in listening carefully, answering questions thoroughly, and helping families understand their child’s health while promoting overall wellness.
Outside of the office, Ashley is married and has two kids. She enjoys family time, traveling, being outdoors, skiing and hiking. She stays busy coaching and cheering for both of her kids in their sports and activities, as well as cheering on all Kansas City sports.
